The Technical Writing Intern (Logistics) will be responsible for the creation of documentation, user guides, and other training materials and technical manuals for a variety of tasks, tools, and applications. You will be involved in creating visual aids that will be used in training materials and technical documents for a manufacturing environment that specializes in explosive materials. This position requires excellent writing skills and ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
What You Will Do:
Compose content for technical documents and training materials including but not limited to templates, training manuals, user guides, and reports.
- Assist with establishing guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations to meet business needs and requirements.
- Organize material and complete documentation assignment according to company standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
- Edit, standardize, or make changes to functional descriptions, system specifications, reports, or any other document prepared by other authors or sources.
- Develop process maps and detailed process flows for a variety of tasks.
- Support continuous improvement and process optimization efforts within respectful areas.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong technical writing background and prior experience writing technical documentation.
- Advanced software skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal direction.
- Capable of working under strict timelines and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
