The B2B Direct Touch Mobile Sales Director will report to Vice-President, B2B Integrated Sales within Samsung Electronics America (SEA). The Director will lead a team of Account Executives to sell B2B enterprise mobility solutions that meet U.S. customer requirements. The role will focus on maintaining and growing business, and ensure an excellent client experience at all times. The role will be key in the development of near-term and long-term solutions and GTM strategies, execution of marketing approaches and collaboration on product and technical roadmaps.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive Mobile B2B Direct Touch Business Strategies to grow TL&U market share and revenue; including:
- Clearly articulated strategic rationale using analyses of industry trends, routes-to-market, financial analysis, customer insights, promotions, marketing, and supply chain.
- Prioritized growth opportunities; establish a value proposition for each that drives adoption.
- Business development to identify ‘net new’ opportunities and new innovative solutions that may potentially create new markets.
- Plans to develop and implement and monitor an effective TL&U marketing, brand and relevance strategy.
- Sharing strategy analysis and “lessons learned” on a quarterly basis (Results à Lessons à Action).
- Execute Customer Relationship Management (CRM) plan.
- Develop and maintain key customer relationships at the C-level/Executive and Decision Maker - level to build a working foundation to build strong trusted partner role.
- Ensure Voice of the Customer relative to Sales/Solutions is clearly documented and understood across all parts of Samsung.
- Analyze consumer and customer programs and activations (customer journey focused).
- Develop Solutions to enhance the customer experience:
- Develop a business solution vision for the vertical, translate the vision into an executable plan / roadmap and lead the implementation through market launch.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Services/Solutions & R&D to drive solutions through implementation and market launch.
- Identify and leverage 3rd parties in the overall solutions whenever possible and cost effective - from technology leadership and 3rd party product/services.
- Channel and Sales Enablement:
- Design TL&U reseller/partner marketing programs that ensure that there is channel and carrier support from the Vertical marketing organization. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on sales messaging / approach
- Develop and Lead TL&U Account Executives and, as necessary, coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional team in executing strategy and tactical plan.
- Lead Account Executives to create and maintain detailed acct plans
- Actively coach sales strategy to close business opportunities; actively measure, monitor and adjust account team activities appropriately to maintain good customer engagement, sales process methodology, and achievement of SLA to meet plans.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
- Demonstrate superior level of program development and project management skills, including the ability to prepare written GTM plans and schedules; identify ‘critical path’, and manage within assigned budgets and risk as appropriate.
- Interface effectively at all levels of the mobile B2B organization to obtain support for strategy and tactical execution plan, including negotiating necessary arrangements.
- Drive revenue and profit maximization initiatives through standardized program management
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of directly related experience is required. Proven sales results
