HR Systems Specialist - Projects Team

We are seeking a HR Systems Specialist - Projects Team who is responsible for supporting HR functional work by maintaining HR/Payroll Systems including workflow and business rules. Additionally, the HR Systems Specialist will coordinate the mass load of data to the HR/Payroll ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). The candidate must have the ability to meet and manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of HR ERP functionality including how the HR module interfaces with other modules and systems.
- Responsible for the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of business rules and workflows for HR Employment and Position Actions
- Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures and assisting with training staff and customers as needed.
- Provide documentation of HR Systems procedures and data standards.
- CMS (Customer Management System) system maintenance and support.
- Responsible for testing updates including partnering with testing team as well as confirming and communicating changes.
- Ability to identify cause/effect relationships and solve root-cause issues.
- Deliver technology solutions that aligns business process and industry best standards utilizing existing software functionality and releases for continuous improvement.
- Monitor HR Policy and process changes related to the HR/PY Shared Services website and initiate updates as needed.
- Assist management with establishing and improving upon defined HR/Payroll Shared Services procedures and processing methods to meet production and performance goals efficiently and accurately.
- Partner in the evaluation of new HR technology with HR/PY Shared Services Management, EBS (Enterprise Business Solutions) and the various HR subject matter experts.
- Work with all staff members within HR Shared Services to create and manage effective relationships within the unit and build relationships enterprise-wide.
- Responsible for creating a work environment that maintains confidentiality.
- Provide support to HR/Payroll teams as needed on meeting assigned deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or Business Management.
- Five or more years of related HR/HRIS/HR Systems experience.
- One-year experience working in an enterprise resource planning environment or other HRIS/HRMS position.
- Additional experience working in a Human Resource ERP, IT unit, Business Analysis or as a Business Analyst can be substituted for education.

- Proven process improvement and project management skills a plus.
- Experience creating project plans and/or using project management software.
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills; solid analytical and technical skills.
- Ability to create collaborative work environment with all levels of employees.
- Knowledge of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Access. Advanced Excel skill is required.
- Detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work assignments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management.
- Strong customer service orientation.

Starting Salary Range: Min $45,700 - Max $80,000 Annually (Commensurate with experience)
