About the role

ND Paper, Inc., a sustainable paper company that manufactures high-quality pulp, paper and paper-based packaging materials, seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as the Business Intelligence team’s analytics lead and a key business process liaison for designing and implementing larger or cross-functional Business Intelligence solutions and toolsets in Oak Brook, IL. 

Duties Include:

Lead solution definition and collaborate with other departments for complex data-related issues or analytics requests; Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identifies areas of improvement for current operations, and displays root cause analysis of problems; Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and benefits of new business initiatives and strategies; Organize data into usable data sets and create visualizations to gain business insight in support of decision-making; Resolve escalations in a timely manner and exercise judgment in escalating issues to management; Perform prioritization of daily tasks to ensure on time results delivery and timely corrections; Perform triage, analysis, and corrections or recommendations for reported data issues or analytics requests of advanced complexity; Identify opportunities to enhance processes or technology to improve results; Develop relationships with internal teams and external partners; Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis; Maintain business intelligence methods, databases, dashboards, tools, or systems;    Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile, and identify gaps, uncover unmet business needs and work with data architect to create a finished solution; and Coach new team members on processes and tools for performing data analytics and specialty duties.

The wage range for this position is between $138,715- $159,216 per year. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or Foreign equivalent) and 5 years’ experience in Information Technology, Business Intelligence or Business Analytics which must include 5 years of each (and can be gained concurrently):  Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services; Creating BI related reports with SQL Reporting Services; Combining multiple data sources to centralized reporting; Data Visualization; and Working with internal customers to develop solutions.
