Senior Electrical Engineer - Rod Control and Rod Position Indications

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer in the Rod Control and Rod Position Indications Systems (RCPIS) group. 

The RCPIS is part of the overall nuclear power plant Instrument and Control system.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

• In this position, the Engineer will be part of a team responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the rod control and rod position indication systems consisting of both hardware and software components.

• The scope of this position includes engineering activities related to generating and maintaining design drawings and design documentation. 

• Other responsibilities may include equipment manufacturing support, engineering and factory acceptance testing, vendor interface and possible site installation.

• Ovation DCS Logic/Display programming experience,

• National Instruments Labview programming experience and any analog/digital circuit design is also highly desirable.

 

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• BS - Electrical or Computer Engineering from ABET accredited program
• 3+ years of relevant experience

Other desired experience includes:

• Ovation DCS Logic/Display programming
• Analog/digital circuit design.
• National Instruments Labview programming experience.
• Knowledge of rod control and/or rod positions indications systems.
• SAP Material Management System.
