Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the infrastructure architecture strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
• Lead the planning and execution of initiatives to enhance infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies and industry trends related to infrastructure.
• Strengthen client and stakeholder relationships, while supporting talent development, contributing to the company's growth and competitive edge.

Team Management:

• Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Promote a collaborative environment where team members support one another and work together towards common goals
• Define team goals and objectives, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.

Infrastructure Design and Engineering:

• Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions.
• Provide vision & direction for build out of service management platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure requirements into overall system designs.
• Evaluate new technologies and solutions to optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure operational excellence by establishing and maintaining robust processes for infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Implement best practices for incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and improve infrastructure performance and availability.

Vendor Management and Budget Oversight:

• Manage vendor relationships and partnerships to ensure delivery of quality services and products.
• Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while meeting business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure architecture and engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise-level infrastructure solutions, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), networking, virtualization, and security best practices.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, with a forward-thinking approach to anticipate future infrastructure needs.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in industries such as technology, finance, healthcare, or software is preferred.
• Experience developing a service management platform, improving the customer experience is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional) are a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office
