Job Overview

 

Komatsu is sourcing for a SAP Business Analyst at our Longview, Texas facility to assist in SAP ERP related processes, functionality, and development for the current SAP configuration as well as the future transition to SAP4 HANA. The ideal candidate will assist in streamlining existing processes/practices, monitor the overall health of SAP background jobs, troubleshoot errors/issues with the IT SAP Business Analysts, develop work instructions/reference guides for training purposes, host training sessions, and prepare users on the functionality of kanban, weeks on hand, S4, etc. . Key Job Responsibilities

 

• Plan and perform analysis of company activities and/or functions and guide the subsequent design, improvement, and implementation of the SAP ERP system.
• Review and test interactions between systems to take advantage of a more effective way to provide information.
• Configure functions and workflow to facilitate SAP ERP integration with other applications.
• Troubleshoot business requirements into SAP ERP solutions.
• Research, troubleshoot, and mitigate transactional and other SAP ERP issues and make recommendations to department leaders.
• Assist in the transition from the current configured SAP ERP system to SAP 4 HANA.

Qualifications/Requirements

 

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree required with an emphasis in IT, ERP.
• 3+ years of related experience
• Office setting, some travel to other sites as needed. 

 

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in SAP ERP & SAP 4 HANA ERP, business analysis and management.
• APICS certification or strong knowledge of Supply Chain functionality within ERP systems.
• Knowledge of software application architecture, programming, project management
• Forward-thinking, cultural fit
• Organizational and Leadership skills, Adaptability
