Position Summary

 

As an Accounting Coordinator you will work closely with Manufacturing and Finance teams within the organization to support the processing of payroll, master data set-ups, vendor set-ups and payments and miscellaneous material accounting functions. You will be responsible for monitoring accounts payable processing, setting up and closely monitoring master data sets, and monitoring vendor payments in addition to performing payroll functions and related analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor accounts payable processing to ensure department invoices are delivered in a timely manner and monitor discrepancies
  • Set up and monitor master data to be used in production and costing
  • Responsible for continuous analysis of payroll processing and ensuring appropriate approvals
  • Serve as primary day-to-day contact for employee questions regarding payroll and timekeeping matters
  • Monitor and track vendor invoices, assist with cycle counts and internal audits
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve all payroll issues


Basic Qualifications (Minimum):
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
OR
•Associate’s Degree in Accounting and 1+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
