Restaurant Manager - Wheelhouse Sports Bar

Position Summary: Manages, directs and supervises all personnel assigned to Food and Beverage operations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manages, directs and supervises all personnel assigned to Food and Beverage operations.
• Schedules staffing to appropriate levels within all areas of Food and Beverage.
• Consistently reviews and maintains costs within projected levels.
• Creates, monitors and maintains a cash control system.
• Maintains discussions with the marketing department to determine when special events will be taking place in order to be appropriately staffed.
• Coordinates and executes catering and special event functions.
• Ensures that all team members within the food and beverage department are properly trained in the performance of their job duties.
• Mentors, motivates and supports the Food and Beverage team to ensure development of the team.
• Establishes and maintains effective and efficient department procedures and controls and ensures adherence to same by all team members.
• Prepares annual budgets, operating forecasts, and other required department reports.
• Ensures that all outlets within the Food and Beverage operation are scheduled for appropriate coverage during peak hours.
• Establishes and maintains contact with vendors and Food and Beverage customers.
• Supervises and works closely with Food and beverage managers, supervisors and team members.
• Inspect food and beverage outlets, kitchen operations and catering operations to ensure compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Review usage, guest counts and revenue reports to determine appropriate staffing.
• Perform all other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• 4 Year Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 4+ years experience as department leader in high volume Food and Beverage operations.
• 8 to 10 years Food and Beverage management experience.
• Experience in a Multi-Outlet facility or Casino.
• Point of Sales system experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal communications skills.
• Ability to forecast and maintain the departmental budget.
• Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
• Ability to be a TEAM player
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
