About the role

 

• Our Maintenance department, composed of 11 people, is focused on delivering equipment safety and reliability, and regulatory compliance for our manufacturing site.
• As a Maintenance Specialist, your essential responsibilities will include:
  • General Maintenance activities.
  • PLC knowledge – installation, programming, and trouble-shooting.
  • Wiring of motors and HP load controllers, for 120VAC and 480VAC.
  • Calibration and trouble-shooting of dp transmitters, flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, level transmitters, etc.
  • Installation and testing of pressure switches, temperature switches.
  • Potential for loop tuning, but not mandatory.
• We offer a permanent full time position at the manufacturing site.

 

About you:

 

• 7-10 years of maintenance experience with a thorough knowledge of instrumentation and electrical installation, trouble-shooting, and diagnostics.
• Broad range of experience in electrical controls, PLCs, variable frequency drives, electrical distribution, etc.
• Experience with instrumentation for slurry, abrasive applications and dry powder transfer is a plus.
• Qualification will be verified via testing and evaluation.

 

• Competencies:
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a Straight Shift Maintenance Position in a Union shop, on-site, on a 24/7 schedule, except on agreed holidays and 8 hour day shift, Monday through Friday, with some overtime, weekend and on-call responsibilities.
