($85,200/yr. - $94,600/yr.)  Position/Job SummaryThe Clinical Services Supervisor provides comprehensive clinical oversight and administrative support to the outpatient mental health services program for children and their families. This role involves supervising a team of mental health professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client care, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The supervisor is responsible for fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development, encouraging a trauma informed culture and evidence-based practices for all clinical support roles while implementing best practices in mental health and substance abuse recovery care.   This position provides clinical supervision for various Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) positions to include outreach engagement specialists, intake specialists, and other clinical support positions as assigned, and reports to the Division Director of Clinical Services.   Position/Job Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Provide support and mentorship to staff members, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and excellence. 
  • Acknowledges and respects the diversity of all individuals and demonstrates openness to providing culturally responsive care and treatment to clients and their families. 
  • Conveys knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes, demonstrates proper conduct for managing mistakes, and fosters a two-way dialogue with the supervisee. 
  • Holds staff accountable for performance measures including productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, compliance with funding authorities.   
  • Proven ability to work well both independently and within a team, fostering a collaborative environment while also taking initiative and making independent decisions. 
  • Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective team management and clear directive communication.

  • Completes other duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of program/department. 
  • Provide direct clinical supervision to qualified mental health associates, including case consultation, skill development, and performance feedback. 
  • Provide supervision and manage employee performance, including support plans and disciplinary actions. 
  • Conduct and document individual supervisory session and or group supervisory sessions, as directed by program and agency procedures and guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with each team member to support professional development and individual. 
  • Engages supervisees in discussions of ethical and legal decision-making and professional values. 
  • Utilizes scheduled supervision constructively, responds nondefensively and applies supervisory feedback, recommendations. 
  • Respond to and help to manage client crisis situations, providing support and guidance to staff. 
  • Assign daily tasks to QMHA staff based on program and children and family needs. 
  • Assign and manage caseloads, ensuring timely and effective client care 
  • Provides expertise and guidance in professionalism, demonstrating proper behavior in handling errors and fostering an interactive dialogue with supervisees.
