Are you a Physical Therapist looking for a leadership role? Join our team in Tuscaloosa, AL at the beautiful The Crossings at North River community. This is a Full Time Team Leader position including management as well as clinical treatment time.

The details:
At The Crossings at North River, the mission is to inspire and nurture successful aging. Our rehabilitation team is a part of that goal to keep residents as healthy and independent as possible. The community provides three living options for seniors: Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
- Beautiful new therapy gym space with access to fitness equipment
- One : One patient care
- Patient care schedule is Monday – Friday with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Full time status is flexible with 30-40 hours per week

Do you have the confidence, initiative, and creativity to build a thriving rehabilitation program? Candidates must be driven to engage, excite, and educate residents, staff, and family members on rehabilitation services.
The requirements:
- Degree from a CAPTA accredited school
- Current state licensure or eligibility in discipline
- Has minimum of two (2) years geriatric outpatient clinical experience
- Has held a leadership role or has the goal of growing to a leadership role
- Experience with Orthopedics, Balance/Vestibular, and Neuro Programming
- LSVT BIG Certification a plus
- Displays flexibility and strong time management and communication skills
- Demonstrates confidence, initiative, and creativity to build caseload within a community
- Proficient with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain
The responsibilities:
- Deliver quality therapy services according to treatment plans for patients
- Document progress toward identified objectives
- Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department
- Create a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication.
- Conduct patient and family education
- Work in conjunction with the Regional Manager
- Oversee daily staffing, quality of patient care, team financial performance, compliance, to ensure optimal clinical care is delivered and operating results are achieved
- Cultivate key customer relationships and promote services within the community and surrounding area
- Identify areas of growth within the community
- Attend and contribute to Tx:Team and facility resident care, staff, and other related meetings
- Ensure departmental compliance with all regulatory and practice act requirements
- Assist in the screening process of new applicants with Home Office and ensure all associates receive training, support and proper development to meet/exceed goals upon hire
- Assume responsibility for daily staffing and utilization with input from treating therapists, consideration of clinical requirements and recommendations from interdisciplinary team and specialists
- Manage department budget with expense and revenue reporting
- Oversee clinical programming across disciplines
