Job Description
As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to situations as they arise and supporting a positive atmosphere. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
- Support the enforcement of site policies and procedures to help maintain order within the location.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Participate in site-specific training and ongoing professional development as required by Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
