Overview
Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a dynamic, strategic IT Leader for the role of Senior Director of Acquisitions & Adjacencies. This role will act as a liaison between the Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits IT organization and strategic partnerships that the organization has established. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Partner Technology Enablement, this role is critical for driving the company’s technology vision and objectives with strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead IT integration evaluation efforts for acquisitions that Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits may pursue
- Build strong relationships, regularly communicating with current partners to address their on-going needs, with empathy; Ensuring needs are addressed in accordance with organizational policies
- Analyze complex business requests and recommend technical solutions to the Executive Team.
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to technical teams, ensuring the effective delivery of IT services to strategic partners
- Develop/Evaluate business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for technology spending and initiatives
- Develop and recommend IT strategies and roadmaps to align with organizational objectives
- Closely collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions & mutual benefit
- Coordinate and/or Manage cross functional teams across varying projects and programs to develop and ensure seamless delivery to partners
- Develop and execute a long-term strategic plan, balancing short-term tactical steps with the overall direction and strategy of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing multiple large, very complex projects across multiple functions
- Experience in partner/customer facing support roles in both business and technology organizations
- Influential relationship building skills
- Strong communication and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to articulate future vision and lead teams through organizational changes
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
- Comprehensive understanding of technology and how it impacts business
- Strong project management and change management skills
- Executive meeting facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to establish connections between technology investments and business revenue improvement or cost reduction/productivity enhancement, including within the SGWS organization
