M&C Drugstore is looking for a customer focused, highly skilled, retail oriented and outgoing professional for the position of Cosmetics Sales Assistant. Think bold with a healthy dose of personal empowerment, in an innovative, welcoming environment helping to transform customers to the best version of themselves.

Major Duties will include:

• Drive results by contributing to the store’s sales goals using appropriate sales techniques.
• Maintain well stocked and merchandised shelves and displays.
• Address customer complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Respond to customer queries displaying knowledge of application and use of relevant products.
• Create and maintain a professional record of frequent shoppers.
• Provide professional product recommendation and consultations.
• Support special events and promotions.
• Provide feedback to management regarding the movement of inventory.
• Assist with the stock taking process.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Minimum of five (5) CXC passes at General Level, including Mathematics and English Language.
• A certificate in Cosmetology and/or Makeup Artistry.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in cosmetic sales or makeup application.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of current makeup application trends and skin care.
• Must have merchandising and sales techniques.
• Working knowledge of computer applications.
• Ability to work with all fragrances, beauty, and cosmetic products.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Active physical role that requires bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
