The Manager, Hill's Regional Plant Systems will be responsible for leading the Plant Systems roadmap within the Hill’s division from an approach of people, process and systems. Will coordinate the Plant Systems Managers within the division to ensure global consistency of manufacturing systems.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the extended GSC Global Plant Systems Team to ensure system related standards are adhered to in plant environments within the assigned region.
- Own the implementation and management of all integration projects in the region (e.g.: OPERA, QM/MMT). This includes management of all three aspects of the implementation: people, process, and systems.
- Provide the leadership and mentor to the sites in the region to build systems competencies in the plant.
- Identifying, encouraging and developing new plant systems integration projects.
- Enforce standards that ensure global consistency of manufacturing and integration systems.
- Identification and communication of best practices.
- Work within the Hill’s FP&R and Automation team as SME in the above areas.
- As part of the extended global team, along with other plant systems engineers and IT, work closely to define new, more efficient processes and system capabilities for the plants.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with the plant leadership teams, regional quality, regional FP&R, and regional IT SSO.
- Promote and coordinate the global plant systems integrators network.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering or Information Technology
- 5+ years experience with engineering, supply chain operations, and/or IT Supply Chain
- Proven track record of project management
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing operations and core processes
- Knowledge of Wonderware configuration/maintenance (Wonderware Archestra, Wonderware MES, Wonderware InBatch)
- Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), preferably using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of SAP usage and SAP Transactions: Production Orders, Production Confirmations, Material Movements (Goods Receipts and Goods Issues), Quality Transactions
- Basic understanding of: Production Planning and Scheduling, Inventory Management , Planned Maintenance Concepts, Statistical Process Control (SPC) Concepts, Plant Floor Control System Concepts, Operational Excellence Standards and Expectations (Factory Performance and Reliability (FP&R), EHS Standards, Quality Standards/Regulatory Requirements) and Plant Metrics such as throughput, Operating Efficiency (OE), unplanned downtime (UPDT)
- Ability to configure and test plant systems
- Strong team building and training skills
It is preferred:
- Experience with leading regional projects
- Experience with working in a matrix organization
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
