Description:

• Gain experience assisting in the production of conceptual and schematic level drawings, renderings, and diagrams under the direction of experienced design professionals.
• Direct involvement developing innovative design concepts with project teams to produce constructable solutions.
• Learn more about building material selections and construction detailing to maintain design intent throughout the design process.
• Gain experience preparing for client facing and internal presentations.
• Interface and collaborate with a full project team, including interior designers, landscape designers, engineers, and builders.
• Help in the production of quality design awards both locally and nationally.
• Site visits to active building project construction sites.
• Physical model building.
• AXP Experience!

 Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in, or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or related field (required);
• A strong portfolio highlighting student work and any professional experience, if relevant.
• A strong ability to multitask and pivot quickly between projects
• Proficient in Rhino, Sketch-up, Test Fit and other 3D modelling software
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD a plus
• Strong sketching skills a plus
