THE JOB:

As a Food Runner in Salt & Ivy, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by bringing quality food to guests. By understanding the guests’ unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $10.00/ hr

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Consistently provide a positive guest experience by bussing and setting up tables, cleaning, sanitizing, and polishing dishware while maintaining the appearance of the front and back-of-house areas to company standards.
• Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Retrieve orders the warehouse and stock storeroom
• Assist with proper stock rotation
• Polishing Glassware

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Describes themselves as detail-oriented
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
