China Market AI Data Projects Manager (Mandarin + AI Industry Experience)

Our work powers next-generation speech recognition, NLP, and computer vision systems for global tech leaders. We are now seeking a China Market AI Data Projects Manager to maintain and expand our Chinese enterprise client base.

As our China Market AI Data Projects Manager, you will own sales, relationship management, and light project coordination for our Chinese clients. You will be the primary bridge between YPAI and enterprise clients in China, ensuring smooth project delivery while identifying opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing Chinese enterprise clients.

• Develop new business opportunities within China’s AI and data sectors.

• Manage the client side of data collection and annotation projects — from kickoff to delivery.

• Collaborate with our operations team to ensure high-quality outputs.

• Represent YPAI in Mandarin-language communications, presentations, and negotiations.

Requirements

Essential

• Native or fluent Mandarin, strong business communication skills in English.

• Proven experience in Chinese B2B sales or account management, ideally in AI/data tech.

• Understanding of AI data collection, annotation workflows, or similar technical projects.

• Ability to navigate Chinese business culture, including guanxi-based relationship building.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work across time zones.

Preferred

• Existing network within China’s AI, NLP, or data annotation sectors.

• Previous experience with international clients and cross-cultural projects.
