Job Overview

We have an opportunity for a Full Time Telehealth Coordinator.  This position is 40 hours per week.  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participates actively in meetings, calls and process evaluation and change.
  • Telephone Triage: Completes/receives calls and identifies problems based on information collected.
  • Timely and accurately document patient information.
  • Works with the outpatient team to identify best practice for charting that ensures data is complete and available for the care team.
  • Provides assistance to OPD staff for clinic when staffing levels cause delays in the process or assistance is requested by staff.
  • Revise and incorporate findings from literature, the telemedicine workgroup and current practice in to the program to ensure constant improvement.
  • Acts as a resource internally and externally with respect to research in telemedicine.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality with regard to provider information and understand/adhere to sound physicians HIPAA Privacy & Security policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested willingly and promptly and with a positive attitude.

  • Must be able to work cohesively in a team oriented environment and be able to foster good working relationships with others both within and outside the organization.
  • Well-organized, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines with minimal errors.
  • Strong written, phone and verbal communication skills; proven ability to communicate with doctors, hospital administration and other members of hospital staff.
  • Able to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing

SC Nursing License

At least 1 year of telehealth experience

Cerner/Epic experience

Competency in Microsoft Office Applications

 

Preferred:

2+ years telehealth experience

Bilingual (Spanish)
