The role:
We are looking for an exceptional leader to run our PBG (Product Business Group) recruiting function in the Americas. This is a highly strategic role that will partner with our key leaders that include our: General Managers, VPs of Engineering and Product Management.
This role is critical-path in connecting our business direction, longer-term talent objectives, and relevant external talent trends and pressures to localize and adapt TA strategy for healthy growth in the Americas. The role is responsible for a recruiting team and part of a leadership team ready to globalize our pursuit of excellence in talent acquisition.
Your impact:
- Workforce Planning:
- Proactively & directly engage with our business leaders (General Managers, VPs of Engineering and Product Management), HR and Finance business partners to connect talent strategy and talent attraction execution plans.
- Talent attraction tactics:
- You build proactive prospect pipelines based on commonality of roles and skills by function and location, in partnership with business leaders.
- You devise innovative tactics to attract the best talent.
- You have experience with current trends that lead to building pipelines of relevant target candidates regardless of the role.
- Team leadership:
- Based in Mountain View, California, the role requires weekly onsite presence to engage with teams across the company. You lead a hybrid team (weekly in office presence) reporting directly into you and global team members in a matrix organization.
- You are in pursuit of continuous improvement and high quality deliverables.
- You act at the highest level of the organization, engaging with business leaders who have responsibility for global organizations and represent their interests accordingly.
- You embrace the power of diverse perspectives, lead through inclusion to get to the best answers and perpetuate shared ownership.

- You partner successfully with our business leaders to pursue TA strategies that not only attract top talent but you have a well defined methodology for proactive communication internally with key stakeholders.

- You are savvy in leveraging all systems available to your team, and responsible for data integrity.
- Operational Excellence:
- You run your talent acquisition team like a business and leverage customer service and operational skills to deliver on time and increase productivity.
- You communicate the function strategy, tactics and results to stakeholders on a weekly basis , creating transparency of key performance indicators,
- You view your business as vital to the success of the company and inspect the health of the pipeline to anticipate necessary course correction.
