Your Challenge :
The Personal Health (PH) project portfolio manager develops and executes the Personal Health initiative roadmap. Overlooking the full E2E value chain, the portfolio manager analyzes initiatives and portfolios proposed by Business Units, ISC and COEs and recommends decisions to start, stop and continue initatives in the project portfolio to the PH Leadership Team.
As a critical and influential member of the Process & Systems Excellence (PSE) Leadership team, he/she is responsible for ensuring the excellent execution of all critical global enablers to achieve significant results that align with the organization’s overarching goals.
Your role:
Strategic Alignment
Define Portfolio Objectives: Work closely with PH senior leadership to understand the PH overall strategy and objectives. Translate these into clear portfolio goals and priorities.
Align Initiatives with Strategy: Ensure that individual initiatives within the PH portfolio align with the PH’s strategic goals. Prioritize initiatives based on their strategic alignment, business value, and risk. Regularly assess and adjust the portfolio to maintain alignment as strategic priorities evolve.
Portfolio Insight: Develop and maintain a comprehensive view on the PH portfolio that includes timelines, resource allocations, and dependencies. Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of the portfolio.
Resource Optimization:
Capacity Planning: Continuously assess the organization's capacity for taking on new initiatives. Optimize resource utilization to avoid overallocation or bottlenecks.
Resource (re)allocation: On a quarterly basis drive the process for identifying opportunities for reallocation of funding to new initiatives, in close alignment with the PH BUs. On a yearly basis drive the decision making for the funding allocation of the IT AOP.
Portfolio Health Monitoring:
Montor health: Implement systems for monitoring the health and performance of initiatives within the portfolio. Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Spend & benefits Management: Review and track spend and benefits of approved initiatives (IT AOP) and the IT Operation costs
Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks within the portfolio and develop strategies for mitigating these risks. Regularly assess and update risk profiles for ongoing projects.
Decision Support: Provide decision support to senior leadership by presenting relevant information on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities. Assist in making informed decisions about adjusting the portfolio strategy or initiating corrective actions.
Communication: Ensure transparency and clarity in reporting on portfolio status, cost, benefits realization, risks, and achievements.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Finance or Business discipline.
5+ years of experience in portfolio management
8+ years of experience in cross-functional project/program management
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Project and/or Program management tools & skills
Strong communicator
Able to think and act outside of own discipline/department
Structured and well organized
Self-starter
