Zaden Technologies designs secure, scalable software ecosystems for critical defense programs. We are a DevSecOps-driven engineering firm supporting the next generation of missile defense, space, and C4ISR systems. Our teams integrate automation, compliance, and innovation across secure cloud and hybrid environments.

We are seeking a Senior/Principal Azure Cloud & IaC DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure infrastructure automation across Azure Government and AWS GovCloud environments. This role will own the development of scalable, compliant Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) architectures, ensuring alignment with DoD Cloud SRG IL4–IL6, NIST 800-53, and DevSecOps Reference Design standards.

You will partner with software, cybersecurity, and ATO teams to modernize deployment workflows for critical defense systems under programs like GMD SITR and NGI.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure IL4–IL6 environments using Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible.
• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Integrate Kubernetes (AKS) and container orchestration with Helm and FluxCD for GitOps delivery.
• Enforce security controls via STIG, Iron Bank, and DoD Container Hardening Guides.
• Build automated compliance evidence pipelines supporting Continuous ATO (cATO).
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on SAST, DAST, and SBOM integrations (SonarQube, Fortify, Trivy).
• Author and maintain Terraform modules and documentation for reproducible environments.
• Support monitoring, logging, and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a DoD clearance.
• 5+ years in DevSecOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Deep experience with Azure Cloud (IL4/IL5/IL6) and Terraform IaC.
• Experience managing Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), Docker, and GitOps workflows.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53, DoD SRG, and secure SDLC frameworks.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Certified Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) or Azure Administrator (AZ-104).
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
• Experience automating accreditation evidence or developing for Continuous ATO pipelines.
