Mixing Lab Technician

Job/Position main responsibilities 

Candidate qualifications

Knowledge and practice of Hutchinson's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements

Understanding of Specifications

Test compounds for compliance to specifications and release for production.

Use of MDR Rheometer 2000 and or Mooney MV 2000

Use of MTS testing software 

Manage the tagging of all defective batches to isolate from production

Keeping work space organized

Able to Notify Supervisor of any issues

Run Gage R&R studies

File and archive data sheets as required.

Must have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate within the Mixing Department, and other plant and office personnel.  Attention to detail and accuracy.  Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. 

 

EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent; and at least 2 year of Quality Technician related experience and/or training.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

 

Microsoft Office 2016

Able to Operate 3 Computers at once.
