Your Career
As a Systems Engineering (SE) Enablement Architect at Palo Alto Networks, you are responsible for improving the sales effectiveness of our internal technical sellers through creating and delivering programs and instruction which contribute to educating and enabling SEs, with a priority focus on the Unit 42 services, products, and solutions. The role will require close coordination with Unit 42, Sales Engineering leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Channel Enablement, Education Services, and other Shared Services teams. This role reports to the Director of WW Technical Enablement.
All candidates must have in depth incident response and threat intelligence knowledge, as well as the Systems Engineering experience. In addition, training experience and solid knowledge of blended Learning teaching tools and methods will be vital for the success of this position. This role delivers these services across all Systems Engineering roles and territories and is not a customer-facing or supporting role.
Your Impact
- Contribute to onboarding learning programs so new hire SEs can position, present, and demonstrate Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 security solutions within 90 days of their start date
- Equip System Engineers with knowledge and skills to tell the Unit 42 story and better be able to sell our proactive security, threat hunting, MDR and incident response services
- Lead ongoing technical enablement activities that help new hires and existing SEs to develop skills to deliver effective customer presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations related to Unit 42
- Implement technical enablement and discovery skills related to Threat Intelligence, Security Operations and Incident Response strategies and products
- Lead ongoing technical enablement activities to teach SEs the newest innovations in Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 services so that SEs can discover and qualify new opportunities effectively
- Develop learning paths to help SEs learn fundamentals of technical areas where they will position security solutions - e.g., Cloud, SoC, IR, InfoSec, Threat Hunting, EDR, Behavioral Analytics, AI and more
- Work with the Service Center to help with the curation of information across multiple sources to build learning paths specifically for SEs
- Facilitate delivery of Unit 42 technical enablement sessions, workshops, assessments, and certifications, either remote or in person, to various GTM roles for continued education
- Conduct stakeholder interlock meetings with Field leadership, PM, and Unit 42 Technical leadership to review a rolling 3-quarter enablement plan for feedback, refinement, and augmentation
- Partner with the platform team to maintain the accuracy of CMS postings informing SE organizations of enablement updates, upcoming activities and requirements, and technical content and links
- Educate SEs on using hands-on labs for SEs to improve their product knowledge and drive effective customer engagements to produce technical wins in the sales cycle
- Coordinate with extended teams to test and advise on product demonstrations, providing feedback from the field SE organization
- Participate in coordinating, planning, and delivering the annual SE Tech Summit and SKO event to enable employee and partner SEs and SE leaders <
