Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

Associate degree in nursing

 

Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position

 

Strong understanding of clinical processes and terminology

 

Proficient with EHR systems

 

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

 

One of the following:

• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

 

Epic Clinical Informaticist within 90 days of placement into position

 

*Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

 

Desired Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing

 

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

Epic Clinical Informaticist

 

Proven ability to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

Responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, and improving clinical user interfaces throughout Infirmary Health (IH) to meet facility and departmental needs and increase system efficiency. Acts as liaison between IT teams and clinical staff, providing education on the use of IT systems as needed. Analyzes system usage and troubleshooting to recognize opportunities for system enhancement.
