PD-Registered Nurse-START OF CARE AND VISITS

Job Type Part-time Description   STARTS OF CARE, PATIENT VISITS AND SUPERVISORY VISITSBROWARD COUNTYWe will keep experienced RNs busy!

Characteristics we are looking for!

• Experience with Private Duty Starts of Care and    
• Supervisory visits (we also have Medicare SOC and visits)
• Wound Care and IV experience a plus but not necessary
• Enjoy working with seniors
• Homecare experience (at least 1 year)
• Compassion for your patients
• Ability to work independently
• Have reliable transportation

Requirements

Experience:

• One (1) year experience as an RN in a clinical care setting. 
• Private Duty Home Health Start of Care and Visit Experience

Skills:

• Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively. 
• Demonstrates proven decision-making skills. 
• Must read, write and comprehend English.

Education:

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program. 

Required Documents:

• Level II background screening AHCA (we will pull this up on the website)
• A Health Statement within 6 months of registration date saying the caregiver is free of communicable disease including TB
• Driver’s License 
• Car Insurance card
• Proof of ability to work in the USA (could be your social), Legal residence card or work permit (if applicable)
• CPR Card (NOT ONLINE Approved by American Heart Association, American Red Cross or The Health and Safety Institute) 
• RN License 
• Resume
• HIV/AIDES CEU
• Alzheimer’s CEU

Machinery/Tools/Equipment Requirements:

• Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance
• Manual blood pressure cuff
• Stethoscope
• Thermometer
