Cogent Private Wealth is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Client Service Associate to join our growing wealth management team. This individual will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional client experience by serving as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients and supporting advisors and financial planners in all aspects of client service and operations.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial services, exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, and a passion for helping clients navigate their financial lives. This is a client-facing role that requires professionalism, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries and service requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Manage and maintain client accounts, including onboarding, transfers, updates, and required documentation.
- Coordinate and execute money movement transactions (ACH, wires, checks, internal transfers), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with wealth advisors and financial planners to prepare client meeting materials, including agendas and follow-up documentation.
- Maintain current and accurate client records, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of client service processes and workflows.
- Proactively resolve client issues, escalating complex matters when appropriate.
- Support firm-wide initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships through consistent, high-touch service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in client service within a wealth management, RIA, or financial advisory environment.
- Proficiency with financial custodial platforms (Charles Schwab experience preferred) and CRM systems.
- Solid understanding of investment account types, financial instruments, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client-service orientation.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
