We are looking for:

 

The Engineering Manager is responsible for all the technical aspects for the site in the manufacturing of Aerospace grade Adhesives and Thermoplastic materials operations, including all Facilities, process, and project engineering functions and maintenance at the plant level.

• Provide technical leadership  and ownership in obtaining world class performance in safety, cost, quality, delivery, and waste reduction through establishing and managing a world class Engineering & Maintenance Service,
• Provide strong leadership to drive cross-functional improvement at the site
• Provide leadership to drive project management for various improvement efforts and Capital projects, on time and within budget to achieve site performance and growth targets,
• Lead capital appropriations and budget for the facility in order to support improved technologies that will deliver favorable results in productivity, quality, delivery, safety and ergonomic goals.
• Actively supports, drives, and participates in Six Sigma, Quality and other continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve productivity, address quality, and capacity improvements.
• Provide leadership for all aspects of maintenance of equipment and facilities for the site to drive improvement in equipment performance and reliability,
• Accountable for the preparation and execution of plans to support the site strategic plan including equipment, plant layout, and productivity improvement and other long-term goals.
• Responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Engineering department and facilities engineering group including maintaining and improvement of  engineering standards utilized at the site

 

 

You will bring:
 

• Demonstrated leadership in driving world class levels of equipment reliability, sustainability and preventative maintenance activities across a broad spectrum of processes including digital controls and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) systems,
• Demonstrated leadership within a manufacturing organization
• Experience in a union manufacturing environment and demonstrated success delivering positive labor relations,
• Developed and implemented plan to achieve step-change in site performance,
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership within a matrix organization,
• Demonstrated leadership in capital project management and new product launches,
• Record of continuous improvement within a demanding, top-tier SHE&E culture,
• Record of continuous improvement within a demanding, top-tier quality culture,
• Familiarity and knowledge of operating within an AS-9100 or IATF 16949 Quality Management Structure including Management of Change, Procedural controls/adherence and Calibrations.

• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $115,872 to $144,840 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
