Cloud Security Engineer

Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):Spry is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Top Secret clearance and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in relevant technologies and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):

• Design and implement cloud security solutions.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure secure cloud deployments.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud security technologies and threats.
• Conduct security assessments and audits

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Cloud Security or similar certification from AWS, Azure, Google platforms
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with security tools and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.).
• Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools.
