Maintenance Technician
Location: Palm Beach / Broward County, FL Employment Type: Full-time, Field-Based (travel across assigned centers)
Pay Range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year Other:  Company vehicle and tools provided for business use

 About the Role

Looking for a Maintenance Technician to support The Learning Experience centers throughout the Palm Beach and Broward County area. You’ll help keep our centers safe, efficient, and fully operational by handling routine maintenance, coordinating vendor services, and maintaining compliance with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform general repairs including painting, plumbing, electrical, and light carpentry.·         Inspect facilities to identify maintenance or safety issues.·         Manage service calls and vendor dispatch using Corrigo or similar software.·         Coordinate vendor work for landscaping, cleaning, and specialty repairs.·         Track and control repair costs to stay within assigned budgets.·         Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.·         Maintain company vehicle and tools in proper working order.·         Support new center openings, transitions, and renovations.

Qualifications

·         5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related trades.·         Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.·         Technical training or certification in building maintenance preferred.·         Skilled in operating power and hand tools.·         Valid driver’s license and DOT medical certification.·         Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.·         Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, or travel overnight as needed.
