Our client, a rapidly expanding food manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic Director of Logistics/Supply Chain. This pivotal role is key to managing and optimizing our transportation logistics and warehousing of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Operations: Manage daily warehousing and transportation to meet customer demands efficiently.
• Strategic Development: Create and implement scalable logistics strategies to drive business growth.
• Supply Chain Expansion: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international vendors and 3PLs.
• Performance Tracking: Develop and monitor dashboards to track performance metrics and optimize processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance logistics practices and stay updated with industry trends.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service and Accounts Receivable to minimize delivery-related issues.
• Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with production and customer experience teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Operational Strategy: Execute strategic plans, manage resources, and drive technology innovations.
• Support Operations: Oversee operations across multiple sites and spearhead continuous improvement projects.
