About the role
About the role:We are looking for a General Manager in France to oversee the budgets, licensing initiatives and operations of the local business units. Responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, partnerships, operations and establishing policies. This role requires close cooperation with other departments in the Group to ensure the successful launch of all Crypto.com products in the region and accelerate the world's transition to cryptocurrency.
The successful candidate should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our revenues and penetration in the market is increasing.
Responsibilities:-Create and execute France market growth strategy, including license strategies and leading the delivery of end-to-end products in the market.-Initiate market entry strategies, including applying for and obtaining the necessary regulatory licenses within the market for -Crypto.com to be able to launch its full suite of products and services.-Work with the legal, compliance and risk team to ensure products and support legal documents are fully compliant with all local regulatory requirements. Collaborating with team and Project Manager to implement products into France-Conduct regular review on market trends and study competitor activities to identify opportunities, and ensure that Crypto.com remains competitive and drive the strategies to enable the company to be a market leader-Foster new relationships with stakeholders, such as banks, regulators and key commercial partners in France and understanding and working within the framework of new regulatory environments. -Initiate product ideas and ongoing features/benefits tailored for each target segment.-You will ensure the product(s) are aligned to the business objectives and desired customer & employee experience, and contribute to increasing market share, share of wallet, customer retention, and product & customer profitability. Knowledge:-Knowledge and expertise in a markets environment, including having good understanding of AMF regulationsRelevant understanding of banking and ownership of key relationships including understanding of fiat on-ramp and off-ramps within the market-Understanding and appreciation of digital assets and how these are treated within the market, including appreciation for new regulations being introduced in France-Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle, Strategy formulation and flawless business execution-Knowledge of applying for regulatory licenses relevant to digital asset spot trading, derivatives and margin lending.-Strong business acumen of the market, trends in digital assets and payments.
