Purchasing and Production Manager

Role Overview

Sodexo is excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Purchasing and Production Manager at UCHealth Memorial Central Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. In this high-volume food service environment, you'll oversee purchasing, inventory management, and production to ensure the timely delivery of quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors. This position is primarily Monday-Friday with some rotating weekends. The salary range is competitive and based on experience with a full benefits package that kicks in immediately.

• Source the right portfolio of products and services to create the best value;
• Leverage our supply partners for innovation and growth; and/or
• deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations; 
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals;   
• ensure Sodexo standards are met.

What You Bring

• strong communication and customer service skills; and/or
• intermediate working proficiency within Excel;
• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; 
• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; 
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; 
• ability to drive employee success to enhance the value of the food and nutrition team.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 years Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
