Job Title:  Program Director Department/Program: ORR Reports to: Division Director Work location: Downtown Portland or SE Portland Job Type: Hybrid FLSA status: (exempt/salaried) Salary: $34.03/hr. - $37.59/hr. (Bilingual Spanish: $37.09/hr. - $40.97/hr.)  Morrison Child and Family Services: We are a Joint Commission and Sanctuary accredited non- profit organization that provides a comprehensive array of services to children, adolescents, and their families. Job Summary The Program Director is responsible for the overall management of the programmatic, administrative, financial, and operational systems related to the provision of care and services for youth; provision of regular and timely reports to ORR regarding operations, services, and finances; establishing a respective and supportive workplace environment; and elevating any issues or concerns to the  Morrison Division Director and ORR Project Officer.   Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual operating budget. 
  • Inform the Division Director regularly by means of written and oral reports about the fiscal, legal, and programmatic aspects of the program. 
  • Offer recommendations to the Division Director that would improve the capability of the program to fulfill the agency’s mission successfully. 
  • Assure all contracts are adhered to fully. 
  • Assure that all program guidelines are followed. 
  • Directly supervise upper-level management and administrative functions of the program. 
  • Support the organization’s administration in the development and implementation of care and treatment for the youth. 
  • Responsible for consistent achievement of the program’s goals. 
  • Assure the program’s goals are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization. 
  • Assure there is an effective internal management team in place to carry out the mission of Morrison Child and Family Service and the program. 
  • Administer all policies of Morrison Child and Family Services. 
  • Identify and build alliances with key constituents. 
  • Serve as spokesperson for the program, making sure that the program is properly presented to the public. 
  • Maintain a climate which attracts, retains and motivates top quality people—both professional and volunteer. 
  • Oversee and plan for the proper care of the program. 
  • Maintain an available presence as a program resource in day-to-day operations as well as clinical and administrative decision-making. 
  • Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices.    
  • Participate in staff development, in-services, and training related to workplace effectiveness; model professional behaviors and implement improvements to business practices with awareness of their impact in a trauma-informed behaviora
