We are looking for two Azure Networking Specialists to join our brand-new Azure Platform team in Helsinki. Read more below and apply today!

 

As an Azure Networking Specialist you get to:

 

As an Azure Networking Specialist you will have a responsible and independent role. As the team is new, you have the possibility to have an influence on the new teams’ ways of working. You will also make a big impact on developer experience and accelerate our journey to cloud by building and productizing Azure Platform product with your teammates. We trust our experts and encourage everyone to make bold proposals and decisions. Above all, you are not doing all this on your own! You are surrounded by a group of experts to work with.

 

On a practical level, you’ll be contributing hands-on to OP’s new Azure landing zone development, and work with topics such as:

 

•    Designing Azure networking solutions.
•    Managing ExpressRoute and VPN.
•    Monitoring and optimizing network performance using native Azure tools.
•    Configuring Load Balancers.
•    Additionally, supporting development teams on technical topics related to Azure is expected.

 

What we hope from you?
 
To be successful in this role, you need prior experience on Azure cloud technologies, preferably from the networking side. We also hope you have good cooperation skills both with your closest team colleagues, as well as with a variety of other stakeholders, such as development teams around OP Group. Fluent communication skills in English is a must, Finnish skills are seen as an advantage.
 
We are looking for a professional with experience and knowledge from some (and preferably several) of the areas listed below. We don’t expect you to master everything since day one - growth mindset and willingness to develop yourself as a professional will take you a long way.

 

•    Knowledge of Azure networking services
•    Expertise in designing and implementing Virtual Networks and subnetting
•    Experience with Network Security Groups, ExpressRoute and VPN connectivity
•    Configuring skills for Application Gateway and Load Balancing
•    Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting networking issues
