SUMMARYThis position is primarily responsible for assisting in the origination and closing of mortgage loans.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
1. Cross sells First United Bank products and services to borrowers and other customers.
2. Works with assigned bank personnel to promote FUB in assigned markets.
3. Takes thorough and complete loan applications; analyzes and pre-qualifies applicant information to determine viability of the client's desired loan program.
4. Pulls credit, analyzes credit, and compares for accuracy with the mortgage borrower's statements and loan application.
5. Assists in the determination of the correct loan options for the borrower based upon the applicant's present situation, future plans, and preferred loan product.
6. Assists in the submission of the loan applications, preliminary income verification documents, preliminary asset verification documents, loan disclosures, any required credit explanation letters, and executed appl
