JOB OVERVIEW:
Assists with the planning, organizing, and execution of promotional activities and advertisements, both internally and externally, to attract & retain guest loyalty.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of player tracking information in the casino management system.
- Coordinate marketing support services to include advertising, public relations, and internal departments.
- Coordinates, organizes, and executes approved property promotions.
- Monitors calendar for promotions at the property following the strategy of the promotions department.
- Communicates current and upcoming promotional efforts for the guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitors and responds to online reviews/reputation management for the property within established guidelines.
- Coordinate and track, as needed, groups responding to special and VIP party events. Dress in appropriate uniform/attire based upon event/venue, occasionally a costume may be used.
- Develops good working relationships and maintains effective communication with other departments to secure and maintain their cooperation for assistance with promotions and events.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency. Marketing knowledge and/or prior Guest Service experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Fluent English language skills, both verbal and in writing
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Basic math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Performance of work provides intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
- 50% Office environment & 50% Casino environment.
- Bending and lifting up to 30 pounds.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
- Provide high quality work that includes accurate data results related to guest data, promotional details, reports, and advertising materials.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with state, federal, and/or company mandates.
- Demonstrate a positive work ethic by taking the initiative to assist and support the current staff with day-to-day responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with fellow team members. Provide exceptional service to vendors, guests, and team members alike.
- Adherence to assigned work schedule.
PROGRAM DURATION:
- This program is intended to provide the student with approximately 12 weeks of marketing related experience.
