This role is focused on designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes-based deployments, and supporting Linux-based infrastructure that powers our sovereign cloud automation landscape.As a key contributor, you will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable delivery pipelines and infrastructure automation</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing across cloud-native environments</span></li> <li><span>Build and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with sovereign requirements</span></li> <li><span>Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based infrastructure supporting SAT tooling and automation services</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with development and architecture teams to containerize applications, manage Helm charts, and implement GitOps workflows</span></li> <li><span>Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure platform availability and efficiency</span></li> <li><span>Contribute to the automation of infrastructure provisioning and service configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm</span></li> <li><span>Support integration and observability efforts using platforms such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana</span></li> </ul> <p><br/><br/><span><strong>What you bring<br/><br/></strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation roles</span></li> <li><span>Strong hands-on experience with:</span> <ul> <li><span>Kubernetes (setup, operations, Helm, RBAC, namespaces</span></li> <li><span>Linux system administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, or similar)</span></li> <li><span>CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span>Solid understanding of Docker, container orchestration, and deployment strategies</span></li> <li><span>Experience with Git-based workflows, scripting (Shell, Python), and YAML/JSON configuration</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub</span></li> </ul> <p><br/><span>Preferred Skills</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Experience working in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OpenStack)</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure-as-code practices</span></li> <li><span>Exposure to security and compliance automation in regulated environments</span></li> <li><span>Basic understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, and proxy configurations</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of observability tooling such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana is a plus</span></li> <li><span>Previous experience in Sovereign Cloud or public sector cloud environments is advantageous</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong><br/>Meet the team<br/><br/></strong></span></p> <p><span>The Sovereign Cloud Automation &amp; Tooling (SAT) team is responsible for building secure, compliant, and automated infrastructure and observability solutions that support SAP’s Sovereign Cloud strategy.
