PCB Designer

Paradigm is seeking an intelligent and highly motivated PCB Designer for our client, a leader in professional audio visual solutions, based in Beaverton, OR. This is an onsite role for a junior to mid-level professional.

• Type: Direct Hire onsite
• Location: Beaverton, OR

As a PCB Designer, you will:

• Manage part and design library.
• Create PCB layouts.
• Estimate new product costs.
• Interact with materials procurement, manufacturing and test personnel to ensure products are manufactured efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years PCB Design.
• Understanding of 50MHz - 10 GHz signal integrity concepts.
• Previous experience in designing products to meet regulatory requirements including UL, CE, FCC, RoHS and WEEE.
• Knowledge of serial communications protocols and hardware interfaces including I2S, I2C, SPI, and Ethernet.
• Knowledge of ADC/DAC design and implementation concepts.
• Experience with Altium Schematic and PCB design tools.
• Experience in circuit simulation using ModelSim, Spice, HyperLynx or similar tools.
