The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager role provides overall leadership for the day-to-day management, operational oversight, support, and technical expertise for the Enterprise Cloud infrastructure.
• Provide overall leadership for the day-to-day management of a small team of Engineers that provide support to SNC’s application and business customers.
• Deliver on project activities within agreed timelines, provide guidance and direction to support teams, as well as other areas of IT within the greater SNC organization.
• This position will be responsible for participating directly in the planning, managing, and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure job scheduling, efficiency, capacity management, system performance, offsite replication, and maintenance.

Certification

•  AZ-900 – Azure Fundamentals
• AZ-104 – Azure Administrator
• AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer a strong plus
• Other Microsoft centric certifications a plus

Work Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in information technology service/product management leadership.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud and M365 delivery management with strong focus on M365 resource management, Microsoft Azure AD, Securing Cloud resources, Conditional Access Policy management and interoperating with third party applications.
• Functional knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS segments of the Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Exceptional skills in the mentoring and development of team resources to ensure a core focus on providing career development opportunities for your direct reports
• Strong experience providing technical support and delivery of projects working with stakeholders from business, development and infrastructure teams.
• Experience with computer networks, including firewalls, routers, and load balancers.
• Experience opening priority incidents with external vendors and driving to resolution required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Thorough understanding of how discrete infrastructure components work together in an Enterprise environment
• Experience working with SCCM, SCOM, Cisco ASA, CommVault, or PaloAlto a plus.
• Experience with Azure Stack HCI Clusters and Windows Admin Center a plus

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and oral and written communications skills tailored for the intended audience.
• Exceptional skills in the mentoring and development of team resources to ensure a core focus on providing career development opportunities for your direct reports
• Strong technical foundation that enables thoughtful troubleshooting during complex incidents.
• Familiarity working in an Agile and DevOps environment preferred.
