Frontend Software Developer

Mailgun is looking for a Frontend Software Developer to join our Mailgun Application Team. This team is responsible for building and operating a set of products that power our core Mailgun application, which is heavily used and relied upon by our customers. This application handles many things, including reporting dashboards, outbound/inbound email configuration, and our templating software. As a frontend engineer, you'll work with our UX design team and be responsible for crafting beautiful and intelligent UIs.

Responsibilities

• Crafting functional UIs based on mockups created by the UX team
• Working with other frontend teams to contribute to the design components which are used throughout all apps.
• Creating tests throughout the layers of the frontend to ensure top-quality code
• Contribute to all forms of team collaboration: Brainstorm sessions, sprint/quarterly planning, code reviews, team slack chats, etc.
• Reviewing requirements from the Product team and creating designs that meet their needs
• Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise in a timely manner

Requirements

• 2+ years of practical software development experience in building user interfaces
• Strong experience with JavaScript, React, Redux
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS
• Solid understanding of building integrations with RESTful API services
• Experience delivering solutions through a CI/CD pipeline
• Strong skill set in the following: Written comms, verbal comms, ability to listen, ability to learn and grow from feedback
• Bonus: experience with Typescript
