About the role
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and energetic trainer to join Amazon’s Global Security Academy (GSA) Training Team. In this role, the trainer will facilitate and help create learning materials for training related to fraud and theft investigations.
GSA’s primary goal is to help our audiences be more effective in their roles. To do so, we drive the standardization, optimization, and automation of role and skill-based training. This includes the skills required for employees to investigate, analyze, synthesize, and take action on a variety of issues which have the potential to negatively impact Amazon’s people, data, and assets.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner with Program Managers and Learning Experience Designers to design, develop, and evaluate learning initiatives
• Support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all required investigations-related training
• Assist in the development of facilitator guides, scenario-based training, role plays, and simulations
• Provide instructor-led training
• Provide reports and statistics on training performance against goals
• Assess attainment of learner outcomes and performance
A day in the life
You will be working backwards from performance gaps related to fraud investigations to build out training programs and materials. You'll be working with subject matter experts in investigations along with learning and development professionals who will support you in creating learning materials.

• One year of related experience as a trainer and/or facilitator
• Experience designing and developing lesson plans, instructor-led activities, and simulations
• Experience in the delivery and evaluation of instructional content that supports multiple methods of delivery (classroom, on-the-job, online, virtual, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience as a virtual instructor
• Able to perform well in spite of complex or ambiguous challenges
• Able to drive learning and establish positive customer relationships
• Dedicated to improving customer performance
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience conducting theft/fraud/loss investigation
• Experience gathering, interpreting, and reporting on investigative data
• Foundational knowledge in the psychology of learning and in systems thinking and analysis
• Bachelor level education
• Experience with design tools and services i.e. Articulate, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

Basic Qualifications
• One year of related experience as a trainer and/or facilitator
• Experience designing and developing lesson plans, instructor-led activities, and simulations
• Experience in the delivery and evaluation of instructional content that supports multiple methods of delivery (classroom, on-the-job, online, virtual, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing and facilitating both synchronous and asynchronous learning• Experience as a virtual instructor
• Able to perform well in spite of complex or ambiguous challenges
• Able to drive learning and establish positive customer relationships

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience conducting theft/fraud/loss investigation
