Information Systems Security Officer

Copper River Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to join our team. As Information Systems Security Officer you will be a key role in defining and sustaining regulatory compliance of eFOIA, a public enterprise application for the USAF.  Work collaboratively with an information security team to develop and define cyber security procedures and best practices based upon Department of Defense policy guidelines and within compliance of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop System Security Plan using Risk Management Framework (RMF) 
• Develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
• Assess and report on findings relating to STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) 
• Develop configuration management plans
• Coordinate and conduct information system contingency exercises
• Lead mitigation of vulnerabilities derived from security scans and develop vulnerability management plan
• Perform security incident management and cyber security related testing and analysis
• Ensure compliance of: Time Compliance Network Order (TCNO) , Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) 
• Provide security impact letters for each release

Required Qualifications

• Five (5) years experience in IT role supporting infrastructure, risk management, and/or cybersecurity efforts
• Knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Information Assurance Support Environment (IASE)
• Knowledge of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and the Air Force's policy to ensure proper guidelines and compliance initiatives 
• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
• Familiar with navigating and completing controls assessment in eMASS

Security Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ce)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or engineering
