Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position is for a Peds Acute Care NP with pediatric nephrology to assist children experiencing kidney disease.  This position will see patients in the acute care setting as well as the outpatient clinic setting. 

Salary range : $84.82- $121.13/hourlyNP1 : $76.51.hourly

*This is one APP position that will be filled as PA or NP. 

Job Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Master's Degree or higher in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in Pediatrics, Acute Care - Required
• CA NP, NPF, and RN license - Required
• DEA License with Schedule II - Required
• National Certification in Nurse Practitioner Specialty  as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Required 
• BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross  -  Required
• PALS from American Heart Association- Required
• One year of pediatric nephrology experience strongly preferred.
• Will consider new grad NPs with a minimum 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.  
• NP1 (less than 6 months NP experience) : $76.51/ hourly

• Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs- Required
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-Required
• Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-Required
• Ability to set priorities-Required
• Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-Required
• Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-Required
