About the role
Working closely with our Insurance and Technology teams, the Senior Associate, Insurance Technical Solutions is responsible for supporting the technical development of new insurance line offerings across many verticals and geographies, researching and identifying creative solutions in order to achieve product and partnership growth.

What your work week will look like

• Work with the Insurance team to identify and drive optimal solutions to achieve product and partnership growth
• Understand insurance partner offerings and generate innovative solutions to ensure we overcome technical limitations or processes
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Cover Genius’ product technology and underlying platforms and define feature requirements required for new insurance lines
• Support the delivery of ‘ready to use’ insurance solutions that can be leveraged by the Partnership team for new engagements or offered standalone D2C
• Identify opportunities for improving processes, make recommendations, and implement changes through the automation of activities
• Lead discussions with insurance partners to define technical reporting requirements for insurance partners.

What the ideal profile looks like

• 2+ years experience with insurance software platforms
• 2+ years experience integrating disparate insurance lines into policy administration systems
• Customer-facing experience in product development, sales, sales engineering, consulting, or related functions
• Strong strategic, analytical, and tactical skills; must be able to create plans and then roll up your sleeves and get things done
• Experience in managing technically complex insurance offerings in a B2B2C technology environment
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (Nice to have, but not required)
