Athletics and Recreation

Position Summary:

he McGill Athletics and Recreation Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for game night in-game social media coverage of a wide variety of varsity sports, mainly using Instagram.

A familiarity with how other universities, colleges and professional sports teams cover themselves on game nights as well as a passion for both sports and social media is a great help.

This is an opportunity to connect our fans with our teams live, and help build passion and excitement around our successful varsity program. A familiarity around the varsity program is a plus, and an enthusiasm for in-game coverage is a necessity.

Please note that standard hours are from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. and that the vast majority of varsity games occur between Thursday and

Sunday.


 

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience

Hourly Salary:

(AMUSE B) $16.00
