Recreation Maintenance Worker (seasonal, part time)

Kingsmill Community Services Association is currently recruiting for Recreation Maintenance Workers.

 

Work hours: 

Weekdays: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Weekends: 7:30 a.m. – 12 noon.

 

Daily responsibilities:

 

• Walk and inspect the community recreation areas.
• Maintain grounds keeping, pick up trash, remove debris, blow leaves.
• Vacuum pool, skim pool, and arrange pool furniture.
• Maintain cleanliness of meeting room space.
• Set up and break down furniture for meetings and activities. 
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of community recreation centers.
• General grounds maintenance work at community recreation centers, bike path, trails, roads, and drainage systems.
• Assist Maintenance Technician with completion of Work Orders submitted by staff as necessary.
• Daily maintenance and cleaning of five parcel swimming pools May through September.
• Other duties as requested.

• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
• Customer service focused and team oriented.
• Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills.
• Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
