As an engineering intern, you will play a key role in developing quantitative metrics and models to characterize the optical and visual performance of our next-generation MR displays. Your work will focus on creating innovative approaches to convey more immersive and better visual experiences to users.

Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long.



Metaverse Display Engineer Intern (Masters/PhD) Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative metrics and models to evaluate the optical and visual performance of MR displays
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new display technologies
  • Analyze data and provide insights to inform design decisions
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for MR display technology
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing Masters or PhD in Color Science, Imaging Science, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
  • Experience and understanding of optics/photonics/vision science/display technology
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python/MATLAB/C/C++
Preferred Qualifications
  • Intent to return to a degree-program after the completion of the internship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of display technologies (LCD and OLED).
  • Experience working with displays or head-mounted displays, or other hardware to study the visual system.

$6,688/month to $11,134/month + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
