Overview

Responsible for supporting Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits corporate, regional, state-level and functional leaders and their interdependencies with strategic enterprise-wide initiatives.  This is achieved by partnering with Corporate departments to gather and analyze statuses and financial project data that will in turn assist advise leadership in their decision-making processes. The team works in a fast-paced, collaborative environment directly interacting with the company’s senior executives and decision-makers. The small and flat team structure allows the team to be nimble and efficient, while at the same time exposing them to various areas of the business. The OSM serves the entire Southern Glazer’s Leadership Team—and especially the EVP-Chief Commercial Officer, EVP-Finance and EVP-Administration.

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the business EPMO dashboard, strategic enterprise project tracker enhancements and coordinate development of new and existing utilization tools
• Manage the capture of financial data and performance of financial analysis on project actuals vs. budgeted costs and benefits
• Capture accounting data on consulting spend at vendor level and perform financial analysis on actuals vs. contracts and budgeted costs
• Report and present quarterly results to senior leadership
• Support enhancements to existing business tools tied to AOP programs and consultant agreements 
• Manage the monthly enterprise project reporting process for leadership with cross-functional project teams
• Support development and coordination of presentations for senior corporate leadership
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance, IT Finance, Corporate Procurement, Legal, Accounting, Commercial, HR, Supply Chain & Operations and OSM in the annual AOP process to obtain senior corporate leadership approval of strategic project charters, plans, and business cases
• Manage project prioritization based on strategic and enterprise-wide objectives

Additional Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate creation of strategic project charters:
• Clarify and align on project scope and financials
• Identify appropriate resourcing, accountabilities and mobilize teams
• Drive business case development with busines owners and Finance ensuring accountability and transparency
• Drive visibility and approval for program change requests (PCRs) at Corporate Finance level
• For specific projects:
• Control project plans—identify, manage and track potential issues
• Manage and track project integration, interdependencies, and hand-offs
